Found in Vera Cruz, Mexico, and now preserved at the de Young Museum in San Francisco, these objects about 30 cm long were simply Mayan flutes, but according to Ancient Astronaut Theorists, these were representations of pilots aboard strange aircraft, similar to a modern hovercraft.
The pilots who drive these “flying vehicles” also appear to wear a type of suit with a helmet and gloves.
According to traditional archaeologists, many of the clothing, headdresses and objects worn by members of the ancient Maya culture depict only ball players who appear to wear a kind of protective armor worn during the game, like those of modern American football players.

We may never know what Mayan artisans really wanted to portray with these artifacts and interpretations remain only theories, but it is necessary to keep an open mind and not exclude the possibility that artists of the past wanted to represent strange technologies and beings from other worlds.
